Super Baker on site. Great bread and pastries. If you love local history, this place has more photos and antiques on the wall than most museums. Check it out. End of the Oregon Trail!
My wife and I were exploring sandy and came across this place. It has a fun old exterior.
We came inside and sat down at a table. After 5 - 10 minutes the server came and asked us for drinks. We each wanted a shake. We were told she didn't have time to check on ice cream. This was not a good way to start. We ended up with 2 waters.
I ended up getting a Western burger and my wife got the triple decker club sadwich. The food was hearty and delicious.
It took 15 minutes to get our bill after we finished.
If it wasn't for the drink issue when we got here and taking forever to get our check this place would have 5 stars.
Food delicious, service slow. Lots of neat trinkets and mementos on the wall. A good place for breakfast and a few homemade baked goods.
Friendly staff, good food, cute motiff. Parking is dreadful! Pastry shop is excellent. Parking is terrible! We finally got parked (no place for long bed pickups) and the restaurant wasn't very busy...so why so many cars parked in the lot? Staff?? Because it wasn't busy, we got fast service and enjoyed our meals. Leaving was again a problem. Parking lot didn't leave room to turn around...had to back out of the lot carefully, then onto the busy Hwy 26.
Good food and service. Tables and chairs could be a bit cleaner when seated. Price was also very fair. I had the chicken pasta. Very good and leftovers for me. All in my party were happy with their food.
