Two Brothers Family Mexican Restaurant

Recently moved to Sandy. Sad to leave our go to Mexican restaurant behind in Happy Valley. looking for our new go to place. Tried La Bamba (see review). First time here. It's small and atmosphere isn't the best but is still ok. I was a little nervous being that it's a whole in the wall and we were the only ones in there (we were early for dinner though). However, we were pleasantly surprised.

Young man who served us was really nice and aimed to please (I think owner's son). We got the dinner for two . Wow what a meal. It fed me my wife and our two young kids (see pic). It comes with shrimp...yes shrimp and they were amazing the sauce was soooo good and mushrooms were fresh. Seafood is not always the best at Mexican restaurants so this was a nice surprise. Also, came with exceptional homemade guacamole, sour cream, side salads, plenty of tortillas and the whole nine yards. No getting over charged for it on the side like other places.

Carne Assad was thick and tuff would be better thin cut and just quickly seared. Was tasteful though. Margarita was pure sugar water and wife couldn't even drink it. The young man said they were swamped the night before and didn't have time to make their homemade ones? But they took it off out bill so that was nice.

Other than those two things everything was great and we will be back to try more items. Especially the beef ribs not everyone has those and they are my favorite. I'll update after I have them ????

Very good customer service, good food, and they even gave us ice cream on the house.

Locally owned and operated with a diverse menu. The Southwest/Mexican options are flavorful and the portions are generous. The BBQ platter is surprisingly good.

Went here for lunch. It was really good and the prices are really decent. You get chips and salsa. The salsa is really good and on the spicier side. I might be being a little bit picky but the refried beans weren't my favorite which was a little bit of a let down because those are my favorite Mexican restaurants. Overall enjoyed my experience, and I do recommend it!

The service was excellent, as well as the food. The staff was prompt and very courteous. I would recommend "Two Brother's" without a second thought.
