Dar Essalam

I happened upon this place when I was working on a job a short walk down the road, and man am I glad I found them. I love to order their lamb gyro, saffron rice, and iced mint green tea. I love to add their spicy sauce (a little goes a long way) and I’m in heaven. Not only is their food amazing, but their service is like no other. They treat you like family and are so kind and accommodating. They also hold the door open for you as you leave. Just special touches that you can’t find anywhere else. If you’re going for dinner on the weekend they get quite busy. The atmosphere is also very nice and relaxing. The place is always clean. I’m realizing that I haven’t been for awhile as I’m writing this and need to make the trip over their soon for their amazing food.

Eating here was one of the best meals of my life. I will never forget it. The Cornish hen tagine and Vegetable salad plate were delicious and unforgettable. Service was excellent as well. I live in another state and I dream about this place regularly. I will definitely plan a trip here in the future.

From beginning to end, our evening at Dar Essalam was incredible. Not only was the food delicious and flavorful, the staff made you feel welcome and treated you with kindness and genuine pleasure. It was the best service we have ever experienced.

Highly recommend this restaurant, all their food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and attentive.
Start off with their sweetened mint tea, just be careful of that first glass because it’s scolding hot.
Their lamb shanks are tender and delicious, you get to pick from quite a few sauces and spice levels. I recommend adding the couscous to the dish.
They take reservations but aren’t necessary if you go early enough.
Prices are very reasonable considering you get soup and a four salad tasting in addition to your main course.

This was our first time here and we love it! Delicious food and excellent service. The owner, Mihamed, was so kind and welcoming. Try the sweet mint tea, it's amazing! All the food was great quality and the atmosphere was just right. Highly recommended!
