Great family owned business. Comfort food that is good and flavourful. Friendly service. Decent prices. Breakfast and lunch only. Can get busy on weekends during tourist invasions. Leave your entitled Portland / Seattle sobbery at home and chill. Good food takes time and this is a small kitchen.
Ordered the chicken fried steak. Gravy was amazing. Chicken fried just right. Nice crispy texture even after being smothered in country gravy. Would definitely eat there again. Reasonable prices too.
Delicious homemade food, served by an even better staff.
We drive from Ilwaco Washington all the way to seaside for this place. Grandma is such a sweet lady. The breakfasts are so delicious. The food is all fresh made. Chicken fried steak to die for..(my favorite). But every thing else is great too. Its worth the drive even just for a Saturday morning outing. Enjoy!
What a cute place to have breakfast. There are two downfalls oh, the place is really loud. It's small but the volume of people talking gave my boyfriend anxiety. Almost claustrophobic. Not sure if they should open a window or maybe have a fan going. Second thing is that it was pretty hot inside. They didn't seem to have AC and you did have to wait for your food for a longer amount of time than normal. Everything was pretty good. The service was outstanding. I honestly did not like how much gravy to put on my open-faced turkey sandwich. It was overwhelming. I did ask for a side of veggies and I guess they were frozen and not fresh which that was also pretty bad. The coffee is really good the bathrooms are clean, and I definitely enjoyed the flavor. But with all the gravy it made my bread super soggy right away. I ended up having to take the bread right away from underneath the gravy so it wouldn't be super soggy. Doesn't seem like they toast the bread that much. I was recommended to go to this place instead of a different restaurant but I think I might try the other place instead of this only because of the loud and how hot it was in there. But again the service was amazing!
