Nice spot with great food at moderate prices. Service is always great. They run specials that are always awesome for those that want a good deal. Steaks, seafood, burgers sandwiches, and much more. Not a huge menu, but enough to keep repeat visits worthwhile. Probably some of the best clam chowder in the area. Full bar as well. Family friendly.
Sometimes the best places to stop in an eat are the smaller local bar and grills. The food was brought hot and the portion size was large. While I didn't flip over the wine sauce on the Scallops, the clam chowder was amazing! Would happily return and have another meal next time I'm in town! Highly recommend!
This place is a bit more of a hole in the wall type of place, but honesty not bad. The clam chowder was probably our favorite, and we got the captains plate, which would be the perfect meal after braving “naked and afraid” for 21 days- tons of food, well beyond what we could tackle. I wish it wasn’t all fried, especially the scallops. The server was very friendly and accommodating considering we had a fussy toddler with us. Overall- certainly worth a look if this is your cup of tea!
The clam chowder was quite tasty. We had chicken strips and the captain's plate which was pretty good as well. We were the only ones there at first and only a few visitors in the time we were there. Service was slow and I found the atmosphere to be disappointing. There was a dead bug on the napkin that contained my silverware. :(
We stopped into this little unassuming restaurant for dinner. The clam chowder was amazing! I had the steak and surf the steak was tough but shrimp was awesome. My husband has the captain’s plate and he said they were some of the best scallops he’s ever had and now has a new love in Halibut! The place was dingy, dark and small but the food made you forget about your surroundings!
