Excellent sushi! We went for happy hour and all the food was delicious! Although if you don't like gas station slushies, don't order the Kathy's Sake Martini. Also, our server seemed very stressed out and messed up both our order and the table next to us. Maybe they were understaffed, but the poor guy was not keeping up. Food was definitely worth it though.
Happy Hour is a decent way to experience this spot for the first time. I am not a huge sushi fan but my wife is, thus I find myself here now and then. Other meal options are available. Food is good and moderately priced. Service is attentive. My mates who are sushi experts say that this spot is pretty good and the only show in town. They say to get better sushi, one has to go to Portland. I'll pass and eat my crunchy roll right here. Popular spot.
A little overpriced but the portions were big and the service was fast and friendly. Small towns always have limited selection of sushi joints, but I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor profiles the food here offered. I don't know if I would come back, but if I did, it would definitely be for the service.
Its a little overpriced, but the food never disappoints and the staff is always wonderful and friendly. They have normal sized portions, a wonderful atmosphere, and a nice location thats only a little far away from the heart of seaside. They have a nice variety of tasty foods, and I think they are one of the best restaurants in seaside.
Being “landlocked” from Colorado, I was looking forward to trying some fresh sushi being this close to the coast! Tora Sushi did not disappoint! They had fresh takes on some of the classic rolls that I am familiar with, and the rolls were honestly huge for the price. Everything tasted amazingly fresh, and it’s honestly been one of the better sushi experiences that I’ve had in a long time. The sushi chef at the sushi bar was attentive and courteous, and provided great service. I would definitely come back. Only suggestion would be more craft beer selections, even though that might not be the traditional Japanese selection. Cheers!
