Blue Heron Bistro

My favorite restaurant in the county, if not the state. They're German food is the best I've had, and I've spent a lot of time in Germany. Their barbecue is also fantastic, my favorites are the brisket and the burnt ends. This is the place I tell all my friends about, and when someone comes to visit, this is where I take them.

Very good food. We stopped in because of the online reviews and so glad we did. Delicious. Hubby had the Wiener Schnitzel and mine was Saurbraten. Both were great. The German potato salad was so good. Adam the owner was our server and he told us we would not be disappointed, he was right. Then Isabella brought us our slice of the most scrumptious carrot cake ever. Good service.

Excellent dessert. Let the kid pick out what she wanted. Apparently they change the dessert menu every day. I don't know what we had, some kind of chocolate cake with cream that was absolutely decadent.

This is a great restaurant. It is a german themed placed, but if you want more American food they have it as well.

The desserts are so home made with an abundance of flavor.

The owner has done a great job of decorating the place. You can spend more time learning about history than eating.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. They have a great selection from burgers, German cuisine, BBQ plates, and Fish & Chips. Everything on the menu is worth a try. Stop by for Sunday Brunch as well. The amazing skillet breakfasts, Belgium waffles, and eggs benedict varieties will keep you coming back for more.
