Ron's Comfort Food Cafe

I hesitate to promote, because one of the BEST features of Ron's Comfort Food Café' is its QUITE, its like the best kept secrets in Prineville. Their salads are beautiful, fresh and delicious! And portions are generous!

Come here at least once a week. Came in later today for lunch only one guy eating. Apparently a regular they knew his name. But this was the worst service there were 2 gals working and I had to get my own menu ? Sat down and later asked if I wanted anything to drink yes wine ? Gal said we are out and walks away. Comes back much later and said we have this other wine which was fine I requested the other wine. Then she walked away and later came back with the wine and walked away again ?? I only have a hour lunch which includes drive time there. No since of urgency ? Finally comes back and ask what do I want to eat. Ordered. Food came out Food is good as always. Well then I had no sauce for chicken strips ? Waited again to get their attention. Well they both complaining about not making 200 in tips and their hours ? Well maybe get better tips with better service ? What a thought Took forever to get bill paid I had to walk up to bar ? Never has I ever had to do this even on a busy weekend breakfast. Anyways I want to know when Chris works he has the best service ever.
