Tortuga Mexican Bar and Grill

This is the cutest place! They have a covered outdoor patio area with a bunch of seating, some of which is in sand. They even had live music when we were there. The service was excellent - very quick and attentive wait staff. The food tasted fresh and was very good. One of the best things was no wind. Seems the wind never ends in Gold Beach but this restaurant is in an area that is protected from the wind, so dining outside was very enjoyable.

Friendly employees! The service time was great, barely any wait for seating, ordering, or our food. Although, the meat in my meal was not what I ordered, it still tasted pretty good though so not that much of a complaint there. There was corn in it which I was not expecting either though. Otherwise, taste was great, service was great, the decorations and turtle art were very beautiful. Definitely a nice Mexican restaurant in this area.

As I entered this restaurant, I met the amazing kitchen staff and was able to connect with them speaking Spanish, which, gave me reassurance that the food would be of high quality. The servers and restaurant manager were very welcoming and friendly. The salsas and chips were a perfect start. The horchata was sweet and tasty. But the main enjoyment was the carne asada plate. The description does not do justice to how amazing this dish is. The flavors were all great. Overall, I had a wonderful time here and will make sure to stop by again if possible. If you are in town, this place will not let you down!

This place has an amazing ambiance and seating area. They've a lovely staff and the vibe here is super fun! We went there for lunch but I am sure dinner time will be even better as they've a great place to sit very close to the coast. The food is amazing as well and has options for vegetarians too
