    I've been to better sushi spots and I've been to worse. The staff is always friendly and professional and their Japanese Whiskey Sour is solid, if not a little too sweet. The sushi isn't anything to phone home about, but it is tasty and is very consistent. It's worth mentioning twice that the staff do a great job of making you feel welcome.

    Our waiter was great. Coming out of the kitchen was slow despite it being after 1 and hardly 5 tables. Food was just okay.

    Couldn't quite figure out online ordering, had to wait awhile upon getting to the restaurant but very delicious otherwise. Service was quick enough once my order placed, packed well for take out & sauces separated for optimal transport ahead of serving. Will be back but calling in order probably.

    Top notch service. Super friendly staff. The presentation was amazing and Shinsei never fails to deliver on taste.
