The Phoenix Restaurant

My 1st visit to The Phoenix restaurant in Bend Oregon was terrific. My friend and I both had fish-and-chips. They were willing to substitute the coleslaw for mixed vegetables. They were very good. The tartar sauce is made in house and it is very delicious. We tried to buy a pint for home and they declined due to their policy.

The Phoenix saved our Mother’s Day dinner! When our dinner plans at another restaurant fell through we thought surely no one else would be able to get us in for dinner. I called, they happened to have a cancellation and were able to get our table of 6 people in. The service was phenomenal. I believe our server was named Loretta and she was a total rockstar. The appetizers and entrees were amazing as well as their delicious desserts. I cannot express my gratitude for their kindness and ability to get us a table in a pinch. You guys are the best!

We came in tonight for happy hour and ate in the lounge. Chris H. was our server and my wife and I both agree that he's probably one of the best servers we have ever had. Brought us out complimentary chips and salsa when our food was taking longer than expected. Checking in with us regularly. What a wonderful experience. We'll be back! Thanks, Chris.

Update 2/2022. Still a consistent great place to go for great food and service.

I really liked the Phoenix. It's a great place for families. Not upscale but nice enough for any occasion. Food was above average and freshly prepared. Service was fantastic with a full bar too. A great all around place to eat in Bend.

Wonderful food - this is what I said last time - and this time too. I often order something different on each visit and I was not sorry. I had the fried chicken sandwich with French Fries - yummy.
I also bring home, every time,for my lunch the next day the crab bisque soup - fresh crab with a cream sherry base. 😋
