Gordy's Restaurant

Hubby and I ate there for his birthday dinner and the food was absolutely delicious! He had meatloaf and I had a melt-in-your-mouth pot roast. The service was excellent and down-home. We always make a point of dining here when we are in the area and we will definitely return. Highly recommended!

After 9 hours of overnight travel from San Jose to LA Pine, I was starving. The kind of starving only a truckers greasy spoon style breakfast will cure. So, we happened upon Gordy's... I can review it's decor, atmosphere, restrooms, etc..... But, I already pointed out what kind of establishment it is. It's all about the food. Huge buttermilk pancakes, thick slabs of ham, monster omelettes, and it all tastes better than you think it will. So, yeah, 5 stars... The staff is awesome, too

Gordy's Restaurant was a pleasant experience. I'm an over the road truck driver who really appreciates the old fashioned truck stops of days gone by. I stopped in on a Sunday morning and they were fairly busy. I sat at the counter and didn't have to wait long before the waitress took my order. Within about twenty minutes my breakfast was served!
The waitresses all seemed pleasant and one even took the time to check to see if I
needed anything even though I wasn't in her section. The food was delicious and at a reasonable price. The restaurant was spacious and clean as well as the rest room. Gordy's has a modest, old fashioned country ambiance and the employees make you feel right at home.
If you drive a semi, the parking lot is large and paved with no pot holes! Make sure however to follow the truck entrance and exit signs, it really helps the flow of traffic. There are several diesel pumps and a convenience store but I didn't go there so I can't comment. Enjoy!

Food is always so very delicious! Open for 24 hours so you never have to stress about getting there before it closes. The people that work there are amazing and are so kind, helpful and love to joke around. Menu options are always so hard to choose from because they have so much options. This is a great place! It's always so quiet and peaceful to. Things are very clean and you can tell the place has been taken care of. I highly recommend this place for anyone. We have never had a bad experience there. Thank you so much!!!
