Griff's On the Bay Restaurant

The Cod was so unbelievably delicious! Cod is usually not a go to for me, but Fish & Chips sounded good to me the evening I ate here and I'm so glad it did!
Also the scallops and the shrimp from the combo appetizer was to die for!
I don't enjoy calamari or oysters but my husband claims they were just as good. The cook here knew what they were doing, I can't honestly compare with any other seafood restaurant in the area but I can say this place is fabulous!

While the handicap accommodations are lacking, the staff more than made up for it. Our waitress was great, friendly and efficient. The food prices are as expected for fresh seafood, and well worth it. We shared some amazing clam chowder, and had the best prawns!! The homemade tarter sauce, coleslaw, and perfectly prepared fries, topped off the whole experience. We will definitely be stopping in Griff's again!

Food was great. Scallops cooked properly, not cook to death. Shrimp was good also. Clam strips were even good. Cute restaurant, good service, nice to look at the docks and hill sides with all the birds. Worth the visit and will do it again.

The best thing about Griff's is the view of the old docks. Our server became slammed but was still pleasant and attentive. We had the clam chowder which was so-so but with a piece of garlic bread (toasted on both sides) it was good for warming our tummies so we could travel on. All for $10 (tip well people 😀).
