This new resort is remote, but worth the trip. A 36 hole reversible full sized course, 9 hole short game course and seven hole goat caddied extreme fun trek. Superior food, service, experience and highest quality golf at almost 5000 feet elevation. OR golf architect Dan Hixson of Wine Valley Fame You get your own rugged terrain golf cart. I golf blog, have played 1200+ courses, there are bigger belt notches, but this is so fun you have to do it for so many reasons including the people. Spa coming soon, tons of other activities, you just need to like Clean Mountain Air and the out of doors.

The staff is great!! They are very friendly and knowledgeable. The entire retreat is beautiful. There is so much a person can do and see that anyones stay here would be far from boring and Chef Coy and Jacob prepare some of the most delicious food U will ever eat. The family that owns Silvies, the Campbells are some of the nicest & thoughtful people I thinkni have ever met. If ubget a chance to talk to anyone of them, youbwould also agree. Jeff Campbell prepares the sourdough breads daily and OMG! Lets just say, U can never stop eating just 1. Jeff also offers FREE "sourdough starters" along with the directions to enlarge your starter, a few delicious recipes and the history of how he got his hands on this delicious recipe. AND dont forget to get one of his jumbo sourdough cinnamon rolls. They are to die for... Bon Appetit!

We where on a motorcycle trip to Orgeon when we came across this magnificent ranch. We were so impressed we spent two night's. It is such a special place, from the famous sourdough starter used with there homade bread and pancakes to the impressive bar and wine list. The rooms are perfect for that ranch feel. The spa looked amazing all though I did not have time to utilize it. This was definitely a highlight of our trip.
