Atmosphere wasn’t very inviting, but the food was good with incredibly large servings.

Stopped in here for a late breakfast since I didn’t want to spend a good amount of time on the road traveling somewhere else. I ordered the cooks choice omelette, and it was ABSOLUTELY LOADED with goods. Very large portions of everything.

The hashbrowns were also cooked crispy with tons of oil; personally they were the best hashbrowns I’ve had in the north west, but I know cooking them that way isn’t for everyone.

I probably wouldn’t be back, but it was an alright stop for the time. 3/5 all around but the hashbrowns brought this place to 4/5.

My fiancé and I stumbled upon this place completely at random. He had the breakfast ham, eggs, hash browns, and toast. I had the French dip. Both meals were delicious. The service was great and we'll definitely be stopping here again when we come through. Highly recommend.

While on vacation in eastern Oregon we found a unexpectedly good restaurant, Ed’s Fast Break Grill.
It’s located at the truck stop at the edge of town.
We’ve eaten there for several meals.
The food was always fantastic and plenty to fill the belly. We’ve never left hungry.
We have ordered specialty hamburgers, chili burgers, chili cheese tater tots, all the way to their chicken fried steak. Also have tried the
cherry wonderfully delicious. Just to make sure we didn’t miss our veggies we have ordered chef salads.

As for service upon entering the restaurant we were quickly greeted and shown to a table by a lady wearing a mask, however we could hear the smile in her voice.
I believe her name is Margaret. She has been our waitress for several visits. Always doing doing a great job.

Always clean and well maintained. A comfortable environment.

The only downside is it closes at 9pm which is an oddity for a truck-stop/travel-center.
If you’re going thru eastern Oregon on Hwy 20 it’s a preferred stop.
