Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa

The location cannot be beat. Magnificent views of Columbia river next to a waterfall and the gardens are tastefully and beautifully maintained. The hotel is a historic property and the clientele is mostly older retirees and that is very interesting as there was no convenient place to plug in your devices.
Limited dining options in the facility but short drive from other places nearby.

We had our wedding here in April and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The greenery and views are stunning. Unfortunately, the hotel staff are generally rude and difficult to deal with. The front desk and room attendants were by far the best and most helpful.

Perfect price, great room and excellent staff. We forgot items behind and they held them for us. Thank you SO MUCH to the young lady at the check in desk.

Stayed at the historic and beautiful Columbia Gorge Hotel as a birthday gift in November 2021. I always wanted to stay at the hotel because I always heard tales that it was extremely haunted. Apparently my wish to stay came true and I had so many experiences. While I stayed in room 328, which was supposedly one of the most haunted rooms, I had most my encounters in the ballroom, where I heard voices, caught a few orbs in photographs, saw a shadowy figure of a little girl, caught a shadowy figure on camera, and felt a bit uneasy there. I did see a shadowy figure in the restaurant, and I heard a females voice whispering to me as well, and my last paranormal encounter was in the room, where I saw the curtain fly up when the AC was off and windows were closed. Overall, I had one of the best nights ever in this hotel, the beds were amazing, breakfast was delicious, and I had a fun night! I can't wait to go back to the hotel again soon!

Customer service was top-notch! We had an emergency and needed to book a room last minute for a person whose vehicle broke down on a highway. Brittany F. at the front desk got us in quickly and effortlessly and on top of it provided a local taxi-cab phone number, which saved me time and made it possible to get a stranded driver into a warm room quickly. The room itself (per driver) was outstanding. Thank you Columbia Gorge Hotel, your employee rocks
