Great place to pick berries and flowers with views of mount hood. Excellent cider tasting room and delicious good from the food truck. Highly recommend
Love this place! Best cider and food I've ever had! The staff is super friendly and the location is amazing!
First, I've not tasted wine here before, but am commenting on the fruit stand which I've been to a number of times.
We picked the most amazing strawberries in September this year. They were plentiful and oh, so tasty!! We got some other fruit as well and I just went back and got 3 boxes of apples in November.
The folks we've interacted with each time have been very helpful and provided great service to us. I would highly recommend the Gorge Whitehouse for their produce!!
Local to the area. Another Hood River tourist trap. Seating area is nice. Food is decent but the burger is always soaked with grease and barely stays together. Ciders are like 6 or 7 bucks which is unfortunately the norm for this town.
Very nice stop on the Hood River Fruit Loop. We walked around the lovely gardens for a bit, bought some apples. They have wines and ciders to taste. We checked out the food truck. We were pleasantly surprised with the unadvertised special. A delicious clam chowder and hot grilled sourdough baguette. The chowder was very thick with clams, not just a bowl of potato soup with a sprinkle of clam. The flavor was wonderful!! Definitely a do over. I was hesitant to order food as a lot of reviews said it was a long wait. Our experience was great. Even though they were busy, it was only about 15 min to get food. They give you a pager so you don’t have to stay at the truck waiting to be called.
