    Great family friendly, beginner, ski resort. Not as well known which is perfect and keeps crowds low. Staff are friendly and there is a small snack bar inside.

    If you are learning to ski, don't overlook this often overlooked ski area on Mt. Hood. It's only got one chairlift, and a dozen trails, but that's all you need when you are learning. This reminds me of old New England mom and pop ski areas I learned on as a kid. the views are amazing on a clear day, you are right on Mt. Hood, and can see Baker and Mt. Rainier from the top. It's now owned by Mt. Hood Meadows, but is still that mom and pop feel. I had a recent day there for my son's ski race and the groomed runs were hard pack, but the edges of the runs were untracked powder from a 5 day old storm.

    Old school ski resort of yesteryear. Great place to bring newbies to learn in a secluded setting.

    Quaint and friendly family focused ski area. Great for beginners. More advanced skiers will hardly blink and be at the bottom but that's not who it's made for.

    Such a great place for families. Our whole family took lessens here and everyone was successful and had a great time
