Update.
Dropped to three stars. Last few pizzas have all been undercooked and kind of doughy. I've read Google reviews saying they burned people's pizzas and I worry they are now undercooking them because of this. Pizza crust should have burn marks (leoparding). Too bad because this was my favorite pizza in town largely because the crust was so good.
Original review.
Perfect crust (most important part of a pizza), excellent sauce, cheese and topping are good not great and a little skimpy in their use of. I read some people complain about the grease. If I order a piece of pepperoni pizza and it's not greasy I'm not coming back. I made pizzas to get through college and now I eat pizzas to get through life, this is very very good pizza! The prices are a little high for me. The house made ranch is excellent but this is not a "ranch pizza", don't do it people! Use ranch on the crust only if you must because this pizza is too good to smuther in ranch. I like this location much better than the downtown one.
Great pizza. By the slice is so convenient and awesome. The atmosphere is just basic pizza joint. They have limited indoor seating and outdoor seating. The location is great, this one is away from the busy city center of Ashland. Also near shopping.
Finally tried this joint, as an east coast transplant I have high expectations for pizza. (And after a few disappointments in the valley I slowed my search). However, this place did not disappoint with big foldable thin crust slices. The dough was perfectly salty, slightly charred, sauce on point, not overly done, pepperoni and cheese distribution and amount were perfect. The pie was delicious, guys behind the counter were great. Excited to add this place to my list of go to places.
We were visiting and were told by a local that this is one of the best spots in town. My wife and I are big into pizza and we were not disappointed. A New York style pizza with great undercarriage and super good crust. This is a solid 8 on my scale. We also ordered there Focaccia bread with cheese. It came out on a nice tray and marinara. I really wish I lived closer as I would be coming here all the time. Very good!
Moved to Southern Oregon a year ago and I have been searching for my pizza place ever since- today I found it! REALLY EFFING GOOD PIZZA, like proper proper. Actually pizza! Perfect char on crust, great sauce, perfectly topped...the real deal.
EDIT: just read other people's reviews. I'm not sure why some customers expect counter clerks to behave like they are personal servants. Pretty lame. It's crazy some people are too Karen to appreciate authentic pizza. Their loss.
