So good!!! From the outside It looks like a scary old grocery store in a scary old neighborhood. But inside the doors of the great sea were parted and heavens of delicious foods are available at fair prices!! I have four instead of five because even though they have space to add some seating by the deli you have to go into the bar area to sit down to wait for or eat your food. Also the deli is unfriendly to anyone in recovery no where to escape all the alcohol displayed. Grass fed meats all organic fresh produce bakery foods with real butter that you can’t put down once you have a bite. Affordable fresh easy to grab pre made meals. The best Philly cheese steak sandwich I’ve had outside of Chicago (don’t change the bread choice as you get a much smaller sandwich) Beef jerky you will dream about and a wonderful diverse helpful staff!! So many LOCAL FARMS here. Amazing!! Now that I know what’s inside I hope they keep the outside 1970s ranchero style it adds to the authenticity of good old fashioned farm to table foods.

I haven't been to Cartwrights in a couple of years. What a great resource is you want to grab a quick bite for lunch. Their sandwich and drink selections are amazing - and if you really want to enjoy some food, buy some of their amazing meat. I'll be back to Cartwrights!!!!

I'm a health-conscious carnivore who loves this place! The family packs are top-notch, with superior meat quality. The manager is knowledgeable and fun to chat with, sharing details about the meat's source. Even though the cows eat some grain towards the end, the meat's still great. For those like me looking to maximize protein intake without breaking the bank, their bundles are perfect. You can get 60 pounds of meat for around $220, providing 2 pounds a day. Highly recommend the meat bundles. Although the store might seem sketchy, the employees are friendly and positive. Clean bathrooms and a wide selection of cooked goods are available. Personally, I'm a fan of their mac and cheese brisket. My only issue is that their cooked foods are a bit expensive, but the $6 once a week 1 lb for bacon is a win. One of my favorite stores, and I appreciate the hard work of all the employees and the manager. Keep it up! Edit: It's evident they care you can see a lot of replies to the reviews which can be rare in Southern Oregon. They even send a direct email to get in contact with if you had an issue so their can culture that out of the store. From what I can tell the leadership here is phenomenal and personal. The Employees usually always seem happy, and if they're not super enthusiastic, they don't look miserable, which most places do. I'm not sure if there's a medal for culture in workplaces but I feel like this place would win and even if there was news coverage of this business and how they treat their employees i know it'll be a grand run home of an positive story for the news station in this Valley.

The meat is excellent. I can't believe how great the service is. The workers in there really care about how they conduct customer service. Not only their meat is excellent but everything in the store is also. Always fresh and delicious. I really love the manager of the Store. very Kind. and goes above and beyond her job. They don't accept the over the counter card Visa. I purchased over two hundred dollars worth of meat. She felt really bad that they did not accept my card. Such a wonderful woman. She paid for forty dollars of my meat out of her own pocket. I was in complete shock. She was insistent. There was no talking her out of it. She told me it makes her feel good to do something for someone everyday. I commend this woman. I wish I could remember her name. What a beautiful person. Not only that when I was discussing what the card pays for, I told her it doesn't even pay for toilet paper. She also paid for that and put it in my bag. Something I will never forget. I Highly recommend Cartrights. And also their meat is cheaper than anywhere else.. High quality. Love it. You won't be disappointed....
