The Backyard Community Food Court

The Backyard community food court is absolutely amazing! I had the pleasure of going there with my roommate yesterday and we were warmly welcomed by the owner's son. He gave us a rundown of what they were all about and even recommended the most incredible burger I have ever tasted. I'm not usually a fan of onions, but the caramelized onions on that burger were so sweet and delicious.

The atmosphere at the food court is truly something that needs to be experienced. We had the opportunity to chat with the owner and father, who is clearly building something incredible here. I was impressed to see that there are around five different food carts, all run by different people, offering a great variety of delicious foods. And it's not just about the food - they also bring in live bands and comedians, so there's always something fun happening, especially on the weekends.

What's even more special is that it's a true family affair. It seems like everyone in the family is involved in some way or another. I found out that the owner's children even have their own clothing lines, and they sell them right there at the food court. I also discovered some really cool western clothes and shoes available, making it a one-stop wonder for everything you need.

If you're looking to support your community, local foods, and small businesses, the Backyard community food court is definitely the place to go. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Stopped in for a quick burger. I left very satisfied! Great bun, great patty, juicy but not messy.

Community food court aka The Backyard is a food court with food pods and food trucks serving Mediterranean, Persian, Mexican, Soul food and gumbo. There are plenty of seats, it was quite cold and they do have heaters. The only reason why we decided to stop here was Al's Food truck, I first found the truck in Grants Pass, Or and was happy he was still around but in a different location. Next time I come, I would consider trying a different spot! I'm sure it gets busy in the evening and weekends.

Mediterranean - Als Food Truck; Gyro's, Doner Kebab, Bazuka, rice bowls, hummus etc
Persian/Lavender Truck - Sells Lavender beef jerky, lavender ice cream, Persian food, Steak, BBQ burnt ends.
Mexican by Mega Tacos offers - Street tacos, quesadillas, tortas, burritos, burgers, tlayutaco etc
Soul Food - Fried chicken and waffles, fried ribs and veggies rice, mac and cheese and southern asada tacos etc
The backyard - offers an eclectic menu; gumbo, cajun pasta, chili or chicken and rice, burgers etc

Oh, I should mention their is a clothing store here. Ride 'Em Wear - customers can purchase clothing to represent their love for riding bikes, skateboards, horses, and other recreation activities.

Simply the best burger I've ever had. I consider myself a burger connoisseur and I've only ever given out 2 five star reviews for burgers, this is one of them and it is well deserved. The burger was juicy without being messy and busting with flavor. I wish I'd taken a picture because the presentation was beautiful, but once I tried the first bite I couldn't put it down. The atmosphere was fun and comfortable as well, and the owner was very friendly. If you're in the area I cannot recommend strongly enough giving them a try, and if you're not in the area it's worth the trip.

Great place to get food and just meet new people today we ordered from 3 of the trucks. We got the seafood gumbo we got deep fried Mac and cheeseballs that were out of this world, and we also got some beignets just so good all around we will be back !!!! Also check out the store they have some cool stuff we ran out of time but will also be back to check it out !
