“From the gas pumps inside to the casino the staff is friendly fast and courteous. The employees at the casino itself are very friendly and the security officers are happy and eager to help with anything that you would like to view from their large varieties of rings earrings and clothing. I have purchased many items and I will continue to stop there when passing through to purchase more and just to have a friendly conversation with their staff. So the next time you drive by I would highly encourage you take the time and go in and enjoy yourself at the casino or even at the shopping area as I can guarantee somebody will stop you with a great greeting.”

“Absolutely friendly very much a feeling of being welcome. Genuinely enjoyed not feeling rushed. The food was very good. A sense of good old welcoming that is hard to find. We will be back. SO my second experience was completely different. This was 6 days later. We waited 40 + minutes for food. The food was not appealing. Not sure how stroganoff can be dry? Part warm and part cool on the plate. The burger was overcooked and much smaller with too much smoke. The position of reason we were given was they had an 8 top. If as a restaurant you can't handle 8 meals which are mostly burgers, I don't know what to say. So inconsistent on all counts. I will try it again as I give most benefit of the doubt.”

“The food is absolutely phenomenal. This restaurant really speaks to the heart of Madras Oregonians and anyone coming to visit. We had the fish and chips dinner and it was the best I have had. I would rate the prime steak to be 4.6 or 4.7 out 5. It wasn’t mediocre but it also wasn’t the absolute best steak I have had but it also carried its own brand so the star ranking still stands high. The fries are extremely good and the garlic bread is made with the restaurants unique preparation. I’m not sure if the owners and employees realize they have a brand to their food but they do and it definitely will drive a lot business in the future to come. Please be kind and patient to the servers as they do get busy. 5 star review.”

“Oh man the food and cocktails here are so good! I can only speak for the Peruvian side of the menu though. Everyone in my party of six was raving about their dishes. The service was also top notch...very friendly, professional and attentive. After several visits to Camp Sherman, I'm glad I finally got to eat here and will make a point of it whenever I return, at least once or twice a year. Though the hours are a little wonky due to the remote location, so it's not always a sure thing.”

“Always a good time, winter or summer. We dined in on pizza, steaks and burgers. All were great and the drinks were fun. Dog friendly, just remember other people may not share your feeling of “my dog just wants to make friends”, no such thing. Keep your dog by your side so those with phobias or dogs with reactivity issues are not forced to “meet your pet” and make a scene.”
