    Just an update: This USED TO BE Beacon Bar & Grill. The place is now Julie's Uptown Bar & Grill. Google Maps ought to merge this into Julie's; they are not two separate places, and Beacon, as a business name, is no more.

    They give you a big hamburger and even though I asked that it not be well done it was. So I had to ask for some thousand island dressing to put on my hamburger because it was dry.

    Known for excellent burgers, they did not disappoint on my visit. Great burger, good service and clean store.

    There is mostly a local crowd here, but everyone is friendly. The drinks are very fairly priced. The food is very good (much better than you would expect given that it seems to be primarily a bar).

    There artichoke dip and bread is amazing. Plus they always have a wide variety of draft beers to choose from. Friendly peaceful environment.
