The Lake House Restaurant

Had the barbecue burger and it was great. Should have had the fish and chips.

Server could have been just a little bit friendlier. My onion rings for a little on the cool side they weren't hot neither was my sandwich salad was good. Other than that it was good

Lake of the woods restaurant is worth the drive. Delicious fish and chips and Ruben sandwich.
Wonderful view.

Upside: Nice restaurant with good food. Very polite waiter.
Downside: Had to pay $8 day use fee to park for dinner. Tables were being cleaned with only what appeared to be a wet rag, not sure how sanitary that is. Also, management adds 3% credit card fee to the bill automaticly although this should not apply to debit cards or cash transactions.

This is a jam of a restaurant that must have a very good cook in the kitchen! Everything I've ever eaten there is top quality and very fresh. It overlooks the glorious Lake of the Woods and has nice outside seating for the good times of the year. Prices are good and the service is excellent. This place is definitely worth the stop even though you have to pay $8 parking fee to get in there. They really should have a parking rebate like many of the upper class restaurants do so that they can get more clientele to come in there. But it's still worth it because you can also enjoy the lake after you've eaten!
