Hot Spot Cafe

Potatoes were room temperature and over cooked.
Pancake was barely warm.
Took awhile to get our order because cashier entered in our beeper number wrong.

They have been open long enough that all the bugs/training issues should have been worked out.

Hot Spot Cafe is an awesome new addition to Cottage Grove! I have eaten there a few times since their soft opening, and I am so happy we have a fun new restaurant in town. They serve all kinds of eats, treats and sweets, and will be Main Street stop for many years to come.

I had a Portobello Burger that knocked my socks off. Rich flavors, toasted bun with house made sauces and a side of crispy tater tots. I'll definitely be ordering this again.

Also, Ice Cream and Donuts?! You can't go wrong.

Stop by Hot Spot and have a great time!

This cute lil place on the corner brings some nostalgia back to the Grove. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, they have an amazing option for everyone. We have really liked everything we have tried so far. The Cheddar & Chive tots are a home run. The Savage tots with fun sauce are a close second. We've had hot, blended and iced drinks (lots of flavors). The Slabtown sandwich was so good I'm having a hard time trying a different one. They have a PBJ on the menu! Where else can you get that?! They just opened and the staff is new, so please be patient. If something isn't right, just let them know, they are super friendly and will make it right. I'm thrilled to have this addition to our town.

So happy to have this new restaurant in town! I have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hot turkey and Swiss sandwich was delicious and the cheddar chive tots on the side were amazing. I also highly recommend the veggie scramble and the chef salad. Tasty food and very friendly staff.
