SAN Sushi & Teriyaki

Friendly staff was helpful making sure I got what I wanted. Food was fresh and delicious. The teriyaki chicken & rice with veggies was delicious. I also had 1 sushi roll. I can't wait to go back and try more!!! So tasty! I'm thankful they opened in Cottage Grove!

The sushi is wonderful. The chicken teriyaki needs some work. Some friendly advice to SAN, use thighs not breasts. If you are not cooking to order, then start.

I look forward to having having their sushi every week, and retrying the teriyaki chicken at some point in the future.

We live in a small town, so I was skeptical of how good this new sushi restaurant could be. I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to say San Sushi is fantastic. In fact, it is now in my top three eateries in town. The customer service was responsive and friendly. The food was fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean, which is important for an establishment that sells raw fish. I’ve already made plans to go back and try their “cooked” options. What a great addition to our little hamlet.

It's worth noting the service first and foremost because they were incredibly friendly and polite. The sushi was delicious even after forgetting some unagi sauce that would have made an even more delicious topper. I will most definitely be back for the sushi. The only reason I didn't give five stars was due to the teriyaki chicken not being in the top 3 I've tried at other establishments. Go here for the sushi and the service and you won't be disappointed. Not the teriyaki chicken though, if you go that route it's not my fault, I tried to warn you about there being better choices on that menu.

Awesome food and service. Good prices and atmosphere. Good location. Definitely worth checking out. I included a couple pictures of the food we got on the first day they opened, and it was really good. Staff was attentive and super friendly. Happy to have gone. Go check them out!
