One of my favorite spots. Excellent food, great service and atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Each time we've been (2 lunches, 1 Sunday brunch) we've really enjoyed our meals. We've also noted that service and food delivery is real slow. Each time, we notice that we're in for much longer than we'd wanted to for a lunch spot.
But the food makes it worth it! Delicious and straightforward recipes, nothing too audacious.
Local beers, coffees and teas too.
Great fries.
Decided to try Café 440 on a Saturday, unfortunately wait was slow possibly due to Ducks game being on? Good atmosphere and clean. I ordered the mac and cheese which was some of the creamiest mac I've ever had- SO DELICIOUS! while boyfriend had a grilled cheese which was.made to absolute perfection! Would totally come back!
This place has all the makings of an amazing foodie place from their menu offerings to seasonal and unique cocktails and extensive wine lists to rotating desserts. Everything is good.... but falls short of great. It seems to get to a high point so quickly but then falls flat hard before they get all the way there. Ex: sweet potato fries are good and skin on and thick and great dipping sauces but not crispy and no seasonings. Nachos are loaded up and stacked but the chips are tough to chew and the toppings aren't distributed the the whole pile. Salads are creative and pair well with great protein adds but the dressings overpower or don't pair and there is not enough of the other ingredients. Really really good. But not quite
Great place to celebrate a birthday with friends. The atmosphere is rustic modern. The menu is amazing with a large verity of options for each dish. I had their Bacon Blue Mac and Cheese for $15.00. A little on the pricey side but not if you take into account that they use fresh ingredients and make most of the components in house. It is a definite repeat place in my book so when in the area you need to check them out.
