(February 12, 2020, 12:51 am)My first Indian food restaurant. I was thrilled! Food was explained, spices the same and I sampled most dishes (plate was large but many selections). My first reaction was "oh, my, this is my kind of food!" Absolutely delicious. Service was great, encouraging me to try more. I did! Upon leaving, was surprised at the cost...very inexpensive for such a tasty meal. I'll be back! With some friends!

(December 12, 2019, 8:29 pm)When we first moved to Eugene from Chicago (a veritable hub of fantastic, authentic Indain cuisine) we were pretty disappointed with the quality of Indian dishes served at other restaurants here. Evergreen was the third place we tried, and we only go here now! I'd definitely say it's the highest quality in Eugene, so it comes close enough to what we were used to in Chicago. The service can be slow, especially on the weekends, but the wait staff is very nice and the food is delicious. We have only come for dinner hours, so I can't speak to the lunch buffet experience, but I'm sure it's pretty good as well.
