Hong Kong Restaurant

We prefer "mom & pop" precisely for this reason: The food was AMAZING! Until tonight, I haven't had sweet and sour sauce that didn't come from a can since we left the SF Bay area over 20 years ago. Thank you so much!

We have driven past this place many times and never gave it a thought. In fact the night we tried it the first time we were actually headed somewhere else but our good fortune was that place was closed so we decided to give Hong Kong a try - and boy are we glad we did!!!!

This small restaurant is off the chart great. It is not fancy at all, which is fine with me, but they know Chinese food. We have been there twice within the past week and it is outstanding in taste and quality at reasonable prices. It was explained to me they don't make food ahead of time and then dish it out, it's all done to order, which is how it should be done.

This restaurant (Hong Kong) has unquestionably become our "go to" Chinese restaurant due to their excellent food, absolute best in Eugene/Springfield in my opinion. If you like excellent Chinese food then this is the place for you. See you there!!!

Amazing food! I have driven by for years and finally decided to stop-and I am glad I did. Its close to home and the people and great, as well as the food. Have had several dishes, and I guess I have been to excited to eat when it arrives that I have neglected to take pics of the actual food. I will edit next time. Prep time is fast, and the have take out ready quick. Recommended.

I love this place. They have all the typical American-Chinese food (and do it well!), but I would recommend getting adventurous with some of the more authentic stuff on the menu. The family who runs the place is really great too. Excellent customer service, great prices, and good portion sizes.

They were absolutely slammed with take out orders on Christmas but still managed to provide great service (and fair warning about the wait) and tasty food. The menu is large and varied, you can be adventurous or play it safe. I stuck to safe with chow mein, and it was a great portion with good flavors and we'll coated in sauce, not oil.
