Went in expecting small portions for the price like other restaurants, came out with some to take home. Had a family of six and everyone was passing plates and sharing their dishes, and every single one was some of the best we’ve ever had. The fettuccine alfredo and chicken ravioli were highlights among the six dishes we had. Stellar work and honestly quite affordable; even when ordering some of their alcoholic drinks.
I had the Pork Ragout for lunch and it was delicious. When you see Olive Garden just keep on driving this is the place to go for pasta. All their pasta is fresh no cardboard pasta here. I also had a Tiramisu which was yummy. If you are into Italian food this is the place and they even have fresh pasta to buy if your sick of dry pasta.
Excellent Food! Great Service! Cozy and NOT out of this world expensive! Take your time to savor every bite!!
From homemade pasta made to order to wonderful service and an intimate, yet relaxed atmosphere, what's not to like about Placido's?!
They were incredibly accommodating to our large party and allowed us to make a reservation on a Friday night and were very gracious when most of our party was late.
The wait staff was very helpful and the dishes were delicious! Everyone enjoyed their varied pasta dishes and the Tiramisu was devoured so quickly (literally seconds) we had to order another!
As the first time coming to this place I felt it was quite odd. But its a little hidden gem next to the train tracks. My first thought about it was oh great another pasta place. But that soon was overshadowed by the great food they served. I came with a group and we all got different dishes and decided to sample off of each other. Which is a great way of sampling the variety of dishes they serve.
