Loved my first visit here and can’t wait to go back. The service is outstanding and the food was just simply gorgeous. The menu had the perfect selection of items including well crafted cocktails.

It’s exciting to see a new classy place come up in The Whit.

A great new addition to the vibrant dining scene of The Whit in Eugene! Lots of tasty shared plates, lovely hand-crafted cocktails, and extremely friendly service to be found here! The back patio is quiet and cozy, I really hope to be back soon.

Shield Catering was amazing! I originally ordered from them to cater my niece's birthday party, but the party was cancelled due to the fires. I was able to reschedule my order for Halloween. The food was delicious, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. My sister has celiac disease, so finding a caterer who makes fantastic gluten free dishes was wonderful! I highly recommends using Sheild Catering.

Our business has had several holiday catering dinners from Shield over the years. The food is fantastic and speaks for itself. Beyond the food, the owner, Natalie has helped us out so many times. The first time we met, our venue at a local winery fell through due to a winter storm and lack of power. We had hired Shield for our catering service and with Natalie's help, we were also able to secure a beautiful venue on 1 day's notice. This year with COVID, our normal holiday party was reduced to an on site holiday lunch for our staff. The meal was delicious and although I didn't get to say hello to Natalie in person, the gal that set everything up for us spoke very highly of her "boss", which leads me to think she is not only a fantastic chef, but also a phenomenal human being. I am very thankful for Shield Catering and am extremely happy to support such a wonderful local business.

I ordered a Thanksgiving meal from them and highly recommend it. Dan was so pleasant and friendly on the phone, and I really appreciated that he called the day before delivery to make sure that the timeframe still worked for me. Not sure if it was Dan or not who did the delivery, but that person was also really friendly and followed good covid protocols. The food was well-packed and everything was clearly labeled so that it was really easy for me to plan things out and reheat every dish. And of course, everything was delicious! I thought it was a really great value, it was much more food than I was anticipating.
