SweetWaters on the River

I was excited to try this restaurant as it was one of the only ones open Christmas day and I had heard good things about it from friends. Every employee I interacted with was both extremely polite and seemed to manage the Christmas crowd fairly well. I chose to order the salmon with a salad and was genuinely surprised by the quality of the fish I received. It was legitimately the best prepared salmon I've had since moving to Eugene about a year and a half ago. The greens that came with the fish were also impressive. My only complaint is that the rice that came with it seemed like it has been prepared significantly earlier than the rest of the dish. I also enjoyed the rooms decor and the way the area was laid out. Im grateful I decided to visit and am definitely planning on bringing friends here at some point.

We had a great breakfast this morning. Lisa D. provided exceptional service and it was busy. We had the VRI Breakfast and the Buttermilk Pancakes (chocolate chips) and would recommend both. We wish you would bring back the breakfast buffet!

Excellent. Top notch with excellent food and service. We enjoyed a dinner and a luncheon at this restaurant.
Dinner was served hot, delicious and the Tiramisu was yummy.
If passing through Eugene, stop in for a meal.
If you want to impress your date, dress up a bit and sit with a view of the river.
