Viking Inn

I have never written a review for anything before but I believed that this was most appropriate for our situation-
My husband and I ate dinner at the Viking late Saturday night. We sat in the front dining room area. Our waitress was so lovely, very attentive and brought us out great food. I ate a barbecue burger and my husband had a bowl of their house made chili. She was a bit busy with a big group of people at a few tables next to us. They kept screaming at the poor waitress, and demanding over and over again for drinks. No one should be treated this way in customer service it was awful to see. After this all happened, and we were starting to cash out, my husband over heard this group of people refusing to pay the automatic gratuity upon their checks. People like this make me very disappointed in our small town of JC!!! No restaurant should allow people such as this in them.
Overall, I give the Viking 4 stars for our great waitress, the atmosphere, and the food.

My 8 & 9 year old kids are off their kids menu. They had one for breakfast and lunch, with items from $3.50 and up. I had a cobb salad. All was tasty! Service was a little slow. Overall a good experience tho!

Really good Eggs Benedict, country style. Nice atmosphere, and reasonably priced. Would definitely go again.

The did a little remodel so the front door is moved. I think it flows better. The food was good. Service was good.
