This place is absolutely AMAZING!! Food made with love and a wine selection that will exceed your expectations. Just a short drive from Eugene worth the trip but make reservations.

This place is truly a treasure tucked away in a little corner off Highway 58. My husband and I came here for a date night, with reservations in advance. The atmosphere is small but ambient with glowing tea light candles in the windows and on the tables. There were about 8 tables, so I highly recommend getting reservations as they do tend to fill up quickly; we were fortunate enough that it didn’t and were able to converse at a normal volume. Dinner was AMAZING! We had the catch of the day which was Chinook salmon, and it literally melted in our mouths! The bread with dipping sauce was delicious, and we ordered the Caprese as a light appetizer which was also pleasing to the palate. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the quality of service and food, and hope to return in the near future!

SECOND TO NONE! Excellent cuisine, Excellent service, nice atmosphere. Reminds me of the once famous Villa Roma in Eugene, which was our finest Italian Restaurant back in the 1970's. Visit Cioppino, you won't be disappointed!

This was our second visit, and it was as wonderful as the first.

Tonight, we shared the antipasto plate, and I had the Mediterranean Pasta, my wife had the sea scallops.

While mine was a touch salty, I am also very sensitive to salt. For the average person, it was probably sublime.

The scallops are where this place really shines. I have had sea scallops in three different preparations, now, from them.

Every single one brought to that perfect point of doneness, where cooked through, but sublimely tender, without a hint of toughness.

Their desserts, as far as I have tried are decadent and sensuous.

And, I would be remiss were I not to mention the lovely dip that they provide with the bread. It is a tomato and garlic puree, submerged under a layer of robust, flavorful olive oil. The spice of the garlic, the acid of the tomato, and the olive oil blend into something incredible. I would go and gorge on the bread and dip, alone.

If you haven't tried this establishment, you absolutely should.

Do make reservations, if possible, because they can fill quickly.

This place is a delight. The owners Bonnie and Jack are attentive, hospitable and make you feel like family. They both make everything fresh in house and it's outstanding. I will def be coming back again and again. But make a reservation because it fills up quickly
