    Have always enjoyed eating here. However not as pleased with recent Reuben Sandwich. Bread and sauce - delicious. Meat pretty thick cut. Sauerkraut had large chunks of tough cabbage core. Still would recommend Takota's. Very friendly and helpful staff.

    The Shepard's Pie and the chicken fried steak are excellent. It's well kept ...and clean. The prices are competitive. We've eaten here with large crowds and I've never heard anyone complained about anything. The service is always quick and friendly. Unfortunately it burned down in the fires of 2020. I hope they caen rebuild. They still have a Takoda's in Sisters Oregon.

    This is a nice family-owned restaurant on Hwy 126 (McKenzie Hwy) in the Willamette National Forest. It serves lunch and dinner (breakfast has been discontinued). The food is good and the tater tots are perfectly crispy. They batter their fries, which I like. I usually order the BBQ chicken chopped salad, chicken strips, or pizza. Salad bar is temporarily unavailable. Prices are reasonable and the staff are all friendly locals. It also has a gift shop. Great place for refreshment when traveling on Hwy 126, with a gas station, mini-market, lodging, and activities center nearby.
