The best dining experience. Everyone was so pleasant and James our waiter was amazing! The food was excellent so many specials and so many choices. I can't wait to come back. The restaurant has a good vibe nice atmosphere. Even the bathrooms are clean have a vintage vibe with chalkboard and chalk for messages. Cute! Portions are generous and prices are fair. My hubby and I loved it. Oh and eat clam chowder ever.... And olives in Boston for years. 😁💖❤️😋
This place is AMAZING! Delicious food, great service. Our group of 5..2 seniors, 2 teens and one adult all found the perfect dish. Seafood cooked to perfection and the lamb special was so flavorful. Since we were celebrating we found a way to finish off dinner with bread pudding and a slice of coconut cream pie that was to die for! Well worth the price!!
Can't wait to return!!
This place is my own personal favorite restaurant in the world. I go here when I need time to myself, and time to reflect on those who have gone before me and before their time. I've been comforted by the staff and the food, always with a glass of outstanding wine. The Glen Eden Beach area outside of Lincoln City, OR is a place of healing, fun, rejuvenation, relaxation and respite.
The food at Side Door Cafe is exquisite and inventive. I had a squash inspired risotto the last time I went which was so full of flavor and uplifting to my spirits.
We chose to return to a local favorite when celebrated our wedding anniversary last night; and we were celebrating our first indoor dining since the pandemic began.
Even though all still wear masks to enter Lincoln County's restaurants, the air in this high-ceiling, plant-filled gracious space feels so amazingly pre-pandemic !
Masks off at our well-spaced (always was) table. Food and service also were as wonderful as we remembered. The unique little shop was a surprise upgrade!
Enjoy!!!! You do need a reservation...
Food was very good! I didn’t like the Crab Quesadilla but that is probably more my fault than theirs. It could use a little more vegetables! Maybe some chopped tomatoes and red onions or something. Wife got the crab cakes and loved them! I tried them they were very good, dill heavy so if you don’t like dill grab something else. Looks like they are well known for their deserts but we aren’t desert people so skipped it! Our friends love their deserts and ice cream so if that’s your thing be sure to grab some.
