Mo's Restaurant

I come here every chance I get when visiting LC. The clam chowder here is to die for, it's so flavorful and filling. Good vibes every time, and of course the view while dining is beautiful; sometimes you get to see some sea lions popping their heads out of the Ocean. Its a fun little place.

First off, I will say that the food was excellent. As an Oregonian whose now living elsewhere and visiting, I make it a point always to come to Mo’s for their clam chowder. So please know, the food itself is worth whatever wait you have or miles you travel.
Now, I would like to comment to the hostess that was there. Her name started with a “K” I believe, and she was on the young side. As the person that a customer first sees upon entering the establishment, the message that you sent to us was quite literally, “I don’t have time for you. I just want you to quickly give me your info and leave.” Not exactly the warmest or friendliest vibes and that is why I gave this review and visit a 3 out of 5 stars. This is a critique to please work on your customer service and to be a bit more personable as again, you give the impression to new people who visit being the first person they see. Our waitress was lovely and everything else was great, so this review is not intended to sway people from coming. Please, do make MO’S a destination during your visit to the coast. This review is intended to help give feedback for all of the staff, primarily the gal who took our name for the wait list, to please improve your attitude and to be more friendly.

The food was very well priced. The menu is not very big which is a good thing. That means they focus on quality. The views are wonderful and the food was very yummy. Our server was very polite and checked on us often. We will definitely be going back when visiting!

We had a wonderful time here. It has a good view of the ocean with lots of windows to see out of. It is right next to a pier, which made the wait for a table not so bad. There was a slight confusion about when you're table was ready and the way they contact you with your phone, which is the only reason I don't give this 5 stars. The walk along the beach next to it was quite wonderful as well. The food was delicious and they seem to do well with training their servers (our server was in training). I do recommend this place.
