This place is unbelievably amazing. I had the biscuits and gravy and they were by far the best I’ve ever had. Even better than Biscuits Cafe! I highly recommend stopping in here and experience the small town atmosphere and the ridiculously delicious food.
I've eaten here a few times now and it's not too bad. I highly recommend the homemade fries, those are really good. The BLT I just had was pretty good, the only thing I didn't like about it was the ingredients weren't very fresh. All of my lettuce was wilted and smelled very old, and I found some old charred food or some kind of old charcoal on my plate. But the staff is very nice.
We were the last two people they let dine in last night. The clam chowder was wonderful with big clams. The rest of our order was lost somehow, and we waited way too long, but the fish was cooked just right. We had plenty. The staff were great and gave us a discount for the whole thing. We will go again.
This place is really good! Our food tasted amazing. It was a long wait to get our food. I wish they had more indoor seating. The staff is friendly! They also have a wide variety of menu choices.
We eat here almost every time we're in Newport. The chowder is a wonderfully balanced New England style. Bread for the cannon balls is first rate. Long and short, I've never been disappointed. There's a reason in safer times that this place is packed 24-7. Also, they have implemented meaningful covid protection. Keep it up folks!
