Adobe Restaurant and Lounge

I had dinner there recently. The service was fantastic, and the views were beautiful. The food on the other hand....not so much.

I ordered a chicken fettuccine, and she ordered the bacon wrapped filet with "prawns". The chicken was dry, and I bit into an extremely hard piece (could have been bone?). Her steak, for the price, was unacceptable, plus the "prawns" were 2 little shrimp. If I'm going to pay a lot of money for a small portion, it has to be good.

IMHO there are much better offerings close by. I highly recommend The Drift Inn about 3 minutes from the Adobe.....on the way follow the "fresh bread" signs too. You won't be disappointed.

Tremendous location with incredible view. I've watched three whales feeding very close to shore during dinner. The chowder is amazing. A bowl and an order of the cheese bread is a good way to go. The smoked salmon fettuccini is my favorite. Full service bar with delicious drinks and wine. The service is very good. One of the best restaurants on the Oregon coast.

The restaurant is part of Adobe Resorts. Love the food, servers, ambience and view.
This place is popular so, book ASAP.
The restaurant deserves five stars and has a kid's menu. Make reservations ASAP. Best clam chowder, cheese bread and strawberry-rhubarb dessert.

Their indoor pool is quite large. There is a separate toddler pool and hot tub.
Towels are available but not enough chairs. I think there is also a sauna room.
This room (157) needs an update on furniture. Bring extra coffee or your own pot. The table is unstable & small.
The beds are very comfortable. You can request a portable bed, if needed.
Walls are thin and you might have issues with noisy/crying kids.
We definitely will return (my first visit, my daughter's family second).
