Overall the food is delicious, but the menu photos can be misleading; Decided to try the Crying Tiger (Ribeye steak) which is pictured on the menu as cooked pink and is priced at $23. Didn't seem like too bad of a deal for a delicious looking steak at a place we typically liked to eat at. What we received was an overcooked, sad, brown piece of steak that looked nothing like what the menu pictured. When we called to ask about it, they simply said that "it was supposed to be cooked well done".
$23 for overcooked steak that looks nothing like what is depicted on the menu was a let down.
Very first thing I noticed was how clean it was. This was my first time there and haven't eaten a lot of Thai food. We ordered calamari and spring rolls for appetizers, loved the rolls, didn't eat any of the calamari, was too chewy. Also got pad Thai and it was so good. Was quite a few other things I would like to try, and would definitely go back for the pad Thai!
Absolutely love this place. The Lime Tom Yum Chicken Soup is my favorite - it has killer flavor. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this staple in Albany.
My first time at this place, it was quite a treat. The building itself is nothing special from the outside, the inside maybe a little on the cramped side. Regardless, the room itself is both relatively quiet and well lit, making for a good dining experience. Almost no wait despite being full, the servers were quick, but I felt attentive and friendly. As this was my first time, I only was able to try two dishes. The appetizer was a small salad, coated in a peanut sauce which was creamy and absolutely a great complement to the salad. The entree, a red curry which satiated both my appetite and taste buds. It was full of vegetables, with a customized spice level that made me quite pleased and a bit sweaty! Very happy with this place, I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu!
