Krakelen - Wood Fired Pizza Catering

In my opinion, this is the best pizza in the area hands down. The rest of the pizza places don't even compare. I lived in NYC for 7 years and Chicago for 5 and would put Krakelen up with my favorite pizza in those cities.

They serve a spectacular wood-fired thin crust pizza. The crust is tender and thin and slightly crispy. The edges are risen a lot with a delicate amount of leopard spotting on the outsides. Top notch ingredients!! All the toppings, including sauce and cheese are generous and it's remarkable that they manage to get a crispy crust with the amount of sauce that they use.

Seriously, if you like pizza you need to try them out!!!

Best wood fired pizza around! I’ve always had exceptional customer service and their pizza is made with high quality ingredients. This is our go to spot for pizza in Albany! I only wish they had a storefront :)

We love Krakelen! We’ve eaten our fair share of pizza, and have been known to drive long distances just to get our fav... but Krakelen changed the game! Unique, locally sourced, and just SO GOOD. The owners are awesome & we consider them friends after our frequent visits! Keep doing what you do, Krakelen!

Wow! Amazing pizza! They said they make homemade Pizza dough and homemade sauce, And they get their cheese from a local cheese guy, and I believe them! Best pizza I’ve had in Albany and come to think of it the only pizza I like as much as this I had in Minnesota and it was another wood fire place.
