Mackey's Public House

We were on an ambitious road trip, the kind where you have to take your map into the lunch restaurant with you to review your position and make a game plan for the rest of the day. Read the reviews and stopped and glad we did! So welcoming and kind, even with our “I’m a tourist,” map in hand. The food was delicious. I had the BLT and my husband had a burger snd fries. The fries were an interesting cross between fries and thick chips, so good! We were both road starved for veggies so we got salads too and they were amazing and just what we needed. The waitress attended to our every need. We’ll be back if we’re ever that way again. Thanks for your amazing food and service.

I had a delightful experience at Mackeys public house that served an incredible steak sandwich.

The steak was perfectly cooked to my liking, tender and juicy, sandwiched between two slices of fresh, toasted bread. The combination of flavors was outstanding, with a hint of smokiness from the grill.

Not only was the food top-notch, but the service was exceptional as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about their menu. They made sure all our needs were met and went above and beyond to create a comfortable dining atmosphere.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious steak sandwich paired with outstanding service. It's a definite must-visit for food enthusiasts!

This was our first time trying Mackey's and we're glad we did. The service was just as good as the food. We started with the potato skins and they were delicious, so was their ranch dressing. I also got their peach lemonade which was really good. My husband ordered the Mackey burger and said it was one of the best burgers he's had in a long time. Everything was fresh and the meat was good quality and well seasoned. I ordered the fish and chips. The fries were absolutely delicious. The fish was crispy but lacked seasoning for me. All in all it was a great meal and we'd definitely go back.

My goodness the hamburgers at Mackey’s are delicious! We travel a lot and have eaten burgers from all over. These were the best we have had in at least a couple of years. My Guinness burger was unique in the best possible way. The fries were also outstanding!

They have a covered patio which enabled us to bring our dog, which was nice. It was hot, but much better than eating in our hot camper.

Kelsey, our server did a fine job. I didn’t think to get a picture of my burger until it was all messy. Kelsey asked someone who had their burger ready if I could take a picture. Photo is their burger. The meat is thick and locally sourced. Outstanding!
