Sam's Krispy Krunchy Chicken

The food was awesome! Husband had the chicken. Crispy, crunchy and juicy. I had the fish. It was incredible. Portions were great. Service was slow but he was alone and a little busy.

Up front, it's worth trying. Portion sizes are spot on, which is nice. It's just the right amount of food. Overall though, it's just ok.

The first thing I noticed walking in was the smell. What the heck does this place smell like!? It's like stale and old something.

The pricing was nice, and they had good family feed options. I ordered a chicken breast meal, fries, and a coleslaw.

Chicken is good, but not WOW. It was moist, but I feel like it didn't sit long enough after coming to drip fully.

The fries had the same problem, soggy. Too oily.

The slaw was alright, but didn't kick in any direction. It was very middle of the road.

The little honey biscuit wasn't anything special. It was alright, but could have been fluffier.

If was a solid OK. Not amazing, but ok.

Wonderful food, kind service and we will return. They take their time and everything is homemade.

Not what I was hoping for. Great selection, smelt incredible, wholesome food just fell through on the flavor department for me. Friendly staff and folks
