(May 12, 2020, 1:25 am)I've been to many Japanese restaurants in Oregon, but none have been comparable to the food here. The only thing that would make it the best in the state would be the inclusion of authentic sushi and ramen, which I'm sure the owner could do given his skills as a chef. Moreover, it is not very well known in the Salem area, precisely because the owner is the sole operator of the establishment, so I'd also encourage anyone to demonstrate their support for high quality small businesses like by trying the food at this one!

(November 15, 2019, 3:22 am)Owner is very kind and the restaurant is clean, warm and has a lovely atmosphere! The food is to die for, he has a wide array of drinks both alcoholic and non! He even gives you warm towels to rinse your hands!
