We were seated immediately on a Sunday early afternoon and served right away with hot tea. Our order was taken quickly, we didn't have to wait long. The egg flour soup was fine, although next time I will try the wonton soup. The chow mien was some of the best I have had in quite some time. They accommodated beautifully the food needs/concerns of others at my table and we all went away satisfied with a delicious meal.
This used to be the best Chinese Restaurant in town until a couple years ago, they got a new chef or something. But just ate here again and it is just as good, if not, better than how i remember it as a kid going with my family all those years back. Lum Yuen has redeemed themselves. Order "Family Dinner B," you won't regret it!
Such fresh tasting almond diced chicken. Great and generous BBQ pork! Favorite Chinese restaurant and we drive 25 to 30 minutes to get there.
Food was ready quickly. Portions and price is reasonable too. Flavor was good for the most part. Server did take a bit to get to us (got another table's order that arrived after, before us) and was not particularly busy. Nothing too bad to keep us from returning though.
Great tasting food with a very large helping; I had enough for lunch the next day. The food was hot and tasty, customized combination for my preference and was quick. Our server was friendly, knew the menu and helped us make choices off their large menu. I love the egg flower soup and my food arrived right as I finished it. Our teapot was kept full and we enjoyed our time. The price was very affordable, about $12 for my combination meal.
We noticed a lot of people coming in to pick up takeout and would definitely consider that in the future, too.
