I was reading the dictionary earlier and passed the word “flavor” saw the picture of Mina so I thought I’d give it a try! Have to say the word flavor is an understatement! I called Merriam-Webster and had him also add in “deliciousness” and “unimaginable” to the terms under Mina’s Cafe! This place needs to be your next decision.
This is a great little neighborhood restaurant. Tucked off of Commercial with entrance really on Browning, it probably doesn't get the attention that it deserves. We'd talked for some time about going here and finally did tonight. We were not disappointed. Very cute interior filled with greenery, lanterns and orchids. Lots of natural light which made the dining room very inviting. Limited menu but the items are really delicious. Very generous portions. Prices were reasonable if not a little high but the quality and the freshness of the food was worth it. Definitely need to check it out.
This was the first place when staying in Salem. Great place!!! And the service was amazing!! The Pho was incredible. I would definitely go again and AGAIN
My new favorite Thai restaurant! Stopped by just to grab a quick snack of salad rolls to go and Mina sure impressed me. I can't wait to go back for a meal. The salad rolls were the BEST I have ever had and believe me, this is a staple in my diet. The peanut sauce was served warm and ample amount too, which never happens other places. If you haven't stopped by Mina's, you are missing out on some amazing Thai food, a gorgeous atmosphere full of art, vibrant colors and artifacts.
I love stopping in on my way after work to grab my favorite Pad Thai. Both times Mina has greeted me at the door. She is so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is a hidden gem, owned and run by a gem of a person. I like Pad Thai a little sweeter and can’t get enough of Mina’s. There’s always a beautiful assortment of vegetables on top too—so clearly made with care. It’s the extent of what I’ve had (both times as take-out) and I can’t wait to try more.
