This Ramen was absolutely amazingly delicious!!! It was some of the best Ramen that I have had. The noodles were thinner but had a perfect bite. The broth was very flavorful. I personally got the spicy shoyu ramen, I was scooping the last of the broth; it was so good. They plate it very well, and every piece of it, tasted like good quality! I definitely recommend them for Ramen!

Very clean yet rich and flavorful broth; I got the shoyu ramen with extra eggs. The noodles were bouncy yet soft, and the eggs were cooked to perfection with a lovely jammy yolk. My brother got the spicy shoyu ramen and said it was very delicious. Had the perfect amount of spice without losing any of the others flavors, and he liked the addition of minced beef. The chicken was super tender and juicy, which paired perfectly with everything else. Everything was so freshly made, the broth was steaming and the menma and green onions were crisp and light. We also couldn’t help but get a donburi bowl to split because it sounded too good, and we definitely don’t regret it. Super refreshing with crisp and fresh ingredients, from the sliced cucumbers and bean sprouts to the soft beef seasoned just right. Highly recommended.

Really liked it. Not sure what the one stars are about everything was hot and tasted fresh, the girl taking my order was super helpful and the food was really good.

In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that, in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends. Last night, I experienced something new, an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for famous motto: "Anyone can cook." But I realize, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Oniyatai, who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in Salem. I will be returning to oniyatai soon, hungry for more.
