Tasten Cee BBQ Soul Food

Went to Tasten Cee BBQ Soul Food, for our anniversary to take home and she invited us to come back again the next night for a real anniversary dinner, I can't believe how sincere and such an amazing person she is. She really makes you feel like family. Such great food, we enjoyed the tri-tip, candied yams, greens, sweet cornbread, fried okra, spicy cheese sticks, sweet tea, banana pudding strawberry shortcake stuff that was so yummy! Reigna is so friendly and awesome, she has worked hard her whole life and we really enjoyed our conversation with her. She really made us feel like family and gave us an awesome meal with great live music by Rich Swanger, he really has great vocals with lots of his original songs!!! You definitely wouldn't go wrong coming in for a meal and sitting with Reigna and talking a while. P.S. last night we enjoyed the pork ribs, BBQ chicken and wonderful and huge soul food burrito. We really feel like we have found a bit of family here, that we didn't even know we had.❤️❤️ Thank you so much, this is the best 32nd Anniversary we could have ever asked for!!!!

Best bbq in Salem, and the woman who owns the place is the kindest woman you’ll ever meet. Everyone who works here is so kind and generous!!!! We’re definitely gonna be back and would 1000% recommend.

Must I say I had to stop eating just to write this review, the lady at the front was soo sweet and kind she set such a at home vibe immediately the minute I walked in, extremely clean! And the food!!!! Omg I’m a creole/Hispanic and I come from very strong backgrounds on how food is made, prepared and served. It all tasted absolutely amazing, I felt like I was back at home, I was literally moaning on every bite! Highly highly recommend this spot, I will definitely be back and I live in Portland. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! In the search for some good BBQ & ribs, I remembered a video on Facebook of an amazing looking smoked loaded baked potato. Coming in, the staff was very communicative and very friendly. Plenty of options to choose from and everything was phenomenal! The ribs were flavorful and ripped right off the bone- the chicken was tender and moist, and the smoked potato with pulled pork had the perfect ratio of all toppings; (I’m not normally a sour cream girl, but it was *chefs kiss*) The potato salad was the closest thing I’ve had to my grandmas in a while, and they have you feeling right at home. The mango sauce was also delightful and delicious!! You can tell they care about your experience, and I for one will definitely be back.

I got the chicken and rib plate with Mac and cheese. It was absolutely amazing.if you want real authentic soul food definitely come here!!! The owner was so sweet and welcoming. This was mine and my moms first time eating there and she gave us samples and when we left we even got a hug. The owner is a sweetheart. Definitely a one of a kind place to be 💜💜💜 will be coming back for sure!
