The Original Pancake House

Best pancakes I have EVER had. The crepes are also very delicious although some mornings they are too sweet for what I prefer. The service is insanely good as the waitresses are all very kind, funny, and patient. They make it feel like home. It's my go to breakfast restaurant.

Over the top. Our server was so thoughtful, patient, and considerate. Her attention to detail and making sure all of our needs were met. We had strawberries and bananas as a starter and they were fresh and delicious. Our main course was the apple pancake that we shared. This thing must of been sent down from heaven. It was crispy, sweet, soft, and everything in between. Every bite brought a smile to my face. Highly recommend giving this place a try. Make it your favorite restaurant in Salem like I just did. ????

We saw the sign off I5 driving from Keizer, OR. It was busy for mid morning on a Friday. We were greeted and seated right away. My niece had blueberry pancakes with their blueberry syrup; delicious. I had bacon and eggs; delicious but should have had thickly sliced bacon less crispy! The eggs were perfect and the boiling water for tea was boiling! Doesn’t happen much in most restaurants! The service was excellent. Would definitely stop again. Only open 6:30-2:30!

The service is fast and the food tastes great. I've had the 2X4 and the Pecan Pancakes and loved both. My daughter absolutely demolished a plate of eggs and bacon last time I went with my mother in law, so it gets several thumbs up from us!

The staff is the cream-of-the-crop at this restaurant. They went above and beyond and their service was fantastic. The place was very clean and organized. The only reason I'm giving a 3-star is because I had the chicken fried steak for breakfast the steak itself was terrible. The rest of my party seem to enjoy their food.
