Mac's Place

Great food and drinks. Nice staff and beautiful view overlooking the river on the outdoor patio. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

This was my first visit. The food was excellent, but took awhile to arrive. The atmosphere is very old style saloon. Overall a good experience!

Really good food! Flavorful big and juicy. Waitress was efficient but not overly helpful. It was our first time ands she didn't want to tell us any extra information about the menu or how it was served. She might have been too busy, she was the bartender and server for 4 tables at the time. She did however bring water with out being asked after we didn't want any additional drinks. Overall we were really pleased with the meal and experience.

I've eaten a lot of meals at Mac's over the years. I prefer lunch on a weekday. The menu is fairly large for what appears to be a small kitchen. You can't go wrong with a burger. I've never had a bad burger and the Marion berry ketchup is amazing. Something that night miss catching your eye is their German sausage. It's made by the Wooden nickel company that owns Mac's and is very tasty and worth your time. I also think they make a decent fish taco and I usually default to the fish and chips because I don't make that at home and I like their tartar sauce which has a nice dill forward flavor. Out in the back are some tables over looking the creek that are covered by the locals. Silverton is eclectic band you never know who will be there. It can be a loud live music venue in Friday and Saturday nights and just families with kids during the week. I've seen it filled up with farmers and the next day bikers. Service can go up and down depending on who's working and there's been times I haven't gone back for months because they changed cooks but the quality eventually returns and so do I. Mac's also makes a good breakfast if you are looking to change up your breakfast game. Hope this review helps.

Dropped in by chance after a trip to Silver Falls. This is a gem of a place. They make most of there food from first principles and it tastes so good. The lady who served us was a bundle of fun and energy. We had a great time there and wanted to stay longer and listen to the live music. Next time I’m in town this will be my go to bar and restaurant
